Description
Travocort cream, which contains isoconazole nitrate and diflucortolone valerate, is an antifungal cream. It treats fungal skin infections that cause irritation and dry, rough patches. It can be applied to the hands, feet, inter-digit gaps, groin, and vaginal area. It can be used on various skin surfaces, however it is only for exterior use.
Travocort cream is used to treat several skin fungal infections, including the following:
- Ringworm infection is a fungal illness that causes circular, itchy red patches.
- Onychomycosis is a fungal illness affecting the toenails or fingernails.
- Fungal candidiasis is a yeast infection.
- Tinea versicolor or pityriasis versicolor is a fungal illness that causes tiny, discolored skin patches.

Isoconazole nitrate, diflucortolone valerate. 1 g Travocort contains 10 mg (1 %) isoconazole nitrate and 1 mg (0.1 %) diflucortolone valerate.
How To Use Bayer Pharmaceuticals Travocort Cream?
Travocort should be administered twice daily to the affected areas of the skin. Stop using Travocort after your skin has improved. In general, the period of treatment should not exceed two weeks.
If necessary, your doctor may recommend a follow-up treatment with a glucocorticoid-free antifungal medication.

This drug comprises two active ingredients: isoconazole nitrate and diflucortolone valerate. Isoconazole nitrate addresses fungal skin disorders, whereas diflucortolone valerate reduces skin inflammation and relieves symptoms like itching, burning, and pain.
