Quench 50g Cream is combined with other medications to prevent and cure wound infections in persons with severe burns.
Quench Cream Uses
Quench cream is used to treat and prevent wound infections in people who have had severe burns or other skin injuries.
It is also useful for treating pressure sores, leg ulcers, and skin transplants.
It is made up of Silver Sulfadiazine, a topical sulfonamide antibiotic used to treat second and third-degree burns.
How It Works?
Silver sulfadiazine disintegrates in the burn wound, resulting in a slow and steady release of silver ions.
Silver ions attach to bacterial desoxyribonucleic acid, reducing bacterial cell growth while having no effect on skin or subcutaneous tissue cells.
